I've been working with silk for 20 years. It's my passion.

Painting on silk is a quite different process than painting on other materials. What really fascinates me is that I usually don't know what the painting will look like in the end. It's completely unpredictable.

My inspiration comes from the world that surrounds me. Flowers, rain, houses, people, hands, and autochthonous objects are some of my favorite motives that adorn my paintings.

I love colors, all of them, but my favorite is gold. I give a great attention to details because they are what makes one painting special and valuable. I'm interested in Japanese art, and some of my favorite artists are Klimt, Hundertwasser, Berber, etc.

My paintings are original pieces made on high quality silk using water based silk dyes, which are fixed in a steam machine for few hours and then washed. Afterward, when the light hits the pattern, it produces a luster that adds extra dimension to the overall composition.
