Snežana Kapidžić, born 1957 in Sarajevo.

Graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in 1979 and worked at the Institute of Energetics. Lived in Malaysia between 1987 - 1990 and learned fabric design, silk painting and batik. Resided in Germany and Sweeden from 1992 - 1997, learned and worked on the fields of surface design and silk painting. In 1997 she returned to Sarajevo and is working as a professional silk painter/artist since. In 2000 she became member of ULUPU BiH, the national association of applied artists and designers.
